The cervigage is simple and economical, and can be fixed in the cervix with plastic clips, and a cord hanging outside gives continuous readings (visual or electronic). |  | 6. Two-Core Biopsy Needle: is a new type of needle in a biopsy gun that can take 2 simultaneous tissue samples from the same location. The needle in the gun has been designed in a manner very different from current practice. The newly designed needle takes two samples from the same location, such that one sample can be used by a pathologist for detecting cancer, etc. while the second sample may then be used for genomic or protieomic analysis.
